Lead Motion Designer at Hiver
As the Lead Motion Designer at Hiver, I drive the end-to-end execution of motion design projects, from concept to delivery. My role involves project management, collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining creative direction, and developing storyboards, visual styles, and motion systems that align with Hiver's SaaS brand and product goals. I work closely with designers, marketers, and product teams to ensure every animation communicates with clarity while maintaining a consistent brand identity.
A significant part of my work focuses on creating product-led brand videos that simplify complex features through intuitive UI animations. By combining storytelling with motion design, I transform product workflows into engaging visual experiences that help users quickly understand the value of Hiver's platform. These videos are used across product launches, marketing campaigns, social media, and customer education.
In addition to producing videos, I established scalable motion guidelines covering animation principles, transitions, typography, timing, and reusable components. This motion language enables consistency across brand and product communications while streamlining collaboration across teams. My work bridges design, storytelling, and product communication to create motion experiences that are both visually engaging and strategically impactful.
Brand Videos
One of the key challenges in this project was finding a visual approach that felt distinctive while staying true to Hiver's brand and product experience. I explored a gradient-driven visual language that could seamlessly integrate with the UI, creating a dynamic backdrop without distracting from the product itself. The gradients were carefully animated with smooth, fluid motion to add depth and energy, giving the video a premium, modern feel while naturally guiding the viewer's attention.
Another important aspect was balancing visual accuracy with clarity. While the UI needed to closely resemble the actual product for authenticity, I simplified layouts, interactions, and transitions to make the workflows easier to follow. By removing unnecessary complexity and focusing on key user actions, I transformed the product interface into a clear, engaging visual narrative that communicates the core concept quickly and effectively.
In this project, an additional focus was introducing a distinctive brand element that also served a functional purpose. I designed and integrated a branded motion element that acts as a visual pointer, subtly guiding the viewer's attention to key interactions and important UI moments. Rather than relying on conventional highlights or callouts, this approach reinforced Hiver's visual identity while improving the clarity of the product walkthrough, creating a more intuitive and engaging viewing experience.
