Live Action+VFX workflow

For the Jonty Ads project, our starting point was the original live-action footage of Jonty Rhodes from the production shoot. Once we received the raw files, we carried out detailed color correction and grading to bring visual consistency and ensure the footage matched the overall brand tone. Alongside this, we collaborated with influencers who recorded their parts on green screen. We tested multiple background options during the compositing stage, carefully evaluating which settings best complemented the influencers’ energy while keeping the focus on the gameplay experience. This experimentation allowed us to build a visually engaging environment that felt natural and seamless.

On the gameplay side, we designed and animated sequences in After Effects to highlight key features and user interactions.

To elevate the presentation, we created a 3D phone model in Blender, adding realistic camera movements to make the device feel dynamic and cinematic. By tracking the camera within Blender and exporting that data to After Effects, we ensured that the 2D gameplay overlays fit perfectly onto the 3D animated phone screen.

This integration gave the ad a professional, high-quality finish, merging live-action, influencer content, gameplay footage, and 3D elements into one cohesive storytelling piece.
