Preparing Your Meal Loader

Ever wondered how your meal 'loads' before it reaches you?  I created this fun food-app inspired loading screen animation just out of interest. The idea was to bring the 'meal in the making' theme alive. Bonus: it’s ready to be converted into a Lottie file too!"

Loader for GetMega

For the Get Mega app, I designed splash screen animations that serve as engaging loaders when users open the app. These were developed with Lottie integration, which meant the animations had to remain extremely lightweight in file size while still delivering visual impact. The challenge here was to balance three priorities simultaneously: staying true to the brand language, keeping the motion design simple and fast-loading, and ensuring the visuals felt catchy enough to capture user attention during those few seconds of loading time.

I also explored the idea of introducing a mascot as a recurring element for the loader. Since the mascot required more organic motion, I manually animated its shape movements while keeping the overall form very minimal, ensuring the file size remained optimized for Lottie export. This combination of careful design choices, manual refinement, and technical efficiency allowed us to deliver loaders that were not only lightweight but also memorable and on-brand, enhancing the first impression users get when opening the app.

Transaction Loader for JUPITER

I created a loading screen animation for the Jupiter app’s payment transfer process as a personal assignment, exploring both concept and execution. From ideation to final output, I designed the visuals, crafted the motion, and ensured the animation was optimised for Lottie integration, making it lightweight and scalable across digital platforms.

The focus was on delivering a smooth, engaging, and brand-aligned experience that keeps users visually engaged during the short wait time of a transaction.

This project required design thinking, motion craft, and technical adaptability to create functional yet delightful user interactions.
